Swimming Lessons

Miss Priss took swimming lessons last week. I didn't really know how she would do, but I figured it would be good for her no matter what. I guess I was apprehensive because the lessons started at 1 PM.... which is the beginning of Baylee's normal nap time... Now, I'm not one of those Mom's who freaks out when my kid doesn't stick to their schedule 24/7... but after this experience I think we are going to pass on the next opportunity to miss our nap time FIVE days in a row. Mostly for selfish reasons... Towards the end of the week her schedule was so messed up that she was waking up at least TWICE during the middle of the night! I know, I know, I should prepare myself for this with Little Saydee being on the way, but MAN that really stunk! We are just now, at the end of this week, getting back to "normal." (PRAISE GOD!)

These pictures were taken the last day where the parents got to come and watch. You can tell how tired she was....
One of the best things I remember is picking her up after the first few days and asking her how lessons went.... The answers for the first three days were this: "I not put my face in the water Momma... I not put my face in."

She DOES NOT like water on her face, even in the bathtub. We have progressed now to putting her face in and blowing bubbles, but that is it.

Funny Face:

All the kids... Why is my kid the only one NOT smiling for the camera?

Swimming on her back.

Swimming to me.

AND... wanting to go home....

Staying Afloat... Barely,
