Every once in a while I get to see my husband "in his element." Meaning I get to see him doing what he LOVES to do. Usually I'm not brave enough to ask if I can tag along and "take pictures." I try to avoid this question because it is usually answered with "the look." We all know that look and no one gives it better than my handsome cowboy. BUT, for some reason this morning I was feeling adventurous and I CALLED him to ask if it would be okay if I came and watched them ship out the yearlings this morning. To my JOYFUL surprise he said sure, and it wasn't the sarcastic "sure" that usually comes with "the look" so I made a B line for the cattle pens before he changed his mind. Please forgive me because I got a little carried away, as I state above... I don't get this opportunity very often!
Hello Big Trucks! Hello Cowboys!
I have to tell a little story about my sweet "Brudder" Jed. Normally I'm greeted by a big hug and "Hey Sis!" This morning I was greeted by: "Hey Big Belly!" Why is it that he can always make me smile, even if he is poking fun at my baby belly? I just love that man!
The "YERLINS'" as Baylee would call them. These are the kind of "babies" Robert, Byron & Jed "grow." A little bit different than the kind I'm growing right now, uh?
I sent this picture to Tamra at work today, knowing she had no idea I was able to snap a few pictures of them. She said it was the best belated Mother's Day gift EVER! I knew she would like to see both of her "babies" this morning! "Pop"
